Class Schedule and Lesson Fees

At the AJSSMAF, lessons are provided individually to each student, rather than in a group. Lesson sessions are available every day, so you can take your lesson any day of the week at your own convenience. Located in front of the JR Shibuya Station, the AJSSMAF is extraordinarily handy to access. Feel free to drop by and visit our lesson. Admission is accepted any time.

The AJSSMAF Provides the Following Three Courses:

1.Martial Arts Tai Chi Class
(Designed for those who wish to learn Tai Chi Chuan enthusiastically, this class also provides instructions on other styles of Chinese martial arts, such as Hsing-I Chuan (Xing-Yi) and Ba Gua Zhang(Pa Kua).)

2.Aiki Budo Class
(This class provides instructions on Daito-ryu Aiki Budo, one of the most famous traditional Japanese martial arts.)

3.Tai Chi Chuan(T'ai-Chi Ch'uan) Health Class
(This class is designed for those who wish to promote and maintain good health and appearance through the exercise of Tai Chi Chuan(T'ai-Chi Ch'uan))


You are invited to come and see our lessons anytime, including Martial Arts Tai Chi class, Tai Chi Chuan Health class, and Beginners class. Please refer to the timetable provided below to check the class schedule.

A trial lesson is available only for Beginners and Tai Chi Chuan Health classes. (Note that one trial lesson is provided per person.) Refer to the class timetable and come to the dojo around 15 minutes prior to the class you want to try. Bring your own comfortable outfits suitable for exercise, and shoes worn indoors only. The trial fee is 2000 yen. If you sign up for the membership on that day, you can purchase lesson ticket at the discount of 3000 yen. Reservation is not compulsory, but we advise you to call us in advance to avoid disappointment.


Martial Arts Tai Chi Class
(Tai Chi Chuan, Hsing-I Chuan , and Ba Gua Zhang)

The Martial Arts Tai Chi Class is considered to be the main training program provided at the AJSSMAF. Two to four experienced instructors take charge of the 1.5-hour lesson, providing instructions individually for each student according to their levels. This way, even beginners can practice in a fun way and improve their skills effectively.
The purpose of this class is to master the unique art of self-defense, which does not depend on muscle strength. Better still, other benefits of the practice, such as promoting health and fitness, can be expected.



●Admission fee: 6,000 yen (inclusive of tax)
●Annual Membership Fee: 6,000 yen (inclusive of tax)
Lesson fee: Lesson fees should be paid by tickets.
The cost of tickets provided below includes consumption tax.

4 lessons / 1 month from the date of issue / 11,000yen (High school students and below 10,000yen)
10 lessons / 3 months from the date of issue / 27,000yen / (High school students and below 25,000yen)
14 lessons / 3 months from the date of issue / 34,000yen / (High school students and below 32,000yen)

※Students of the Martial Arts Tai Chi Class can receive instructions directly from the president of the JASSMAF, Master Hidemine Jibiki

・Membership is valid as long as you continue to attend the class. Your membership becomes void with absence of one year or longer.
・Admission fees and lesson fees once paid are not returnable for any reasons.
・Classes are not available on the last three days of the month, i.e., 29th, 30th, and 31st of the month.

 

Aiki Budo Class (Daito-ryu Aiki Budo and Ko-ryu Jujutsu)

This class is ideal for those who wish to master the art of self-defense, which does not depend on muscle strength, in a relatively short period. Attentive lessons are provided individually to each student according to their levels from beginners to advanced.

Tue PM7:30~9:00 / Thu PM7:30~9:00 / Sat PM4:00~5:30

※Students of Aiki Budo Class can receive instructions directly from the President of the JASSMAF, Master Hidemine Jibiki
※Lesson fees of the Aiki Budo Class are same as those of the Martial Arts Tai Chi Class.


Tai Chi Chuan(T'ai-Chi Ch'uan) Health Class

Designed for those who wish to promote health and fitness through the practice of Tai Chi Chuan(T'ai-Chi Ch'uan), this class is also ideal as a rehabilitation exercise after recovering from disease. If you want to practice Tai Chi Chuan(T'ai-Chi Ch'uan) for the purpose of promoting health, trimming your body, as well as changing your lifestyle lack in exercise, this class is perfect for you.
Lessons are provided by woman instructors and exercises instructed in this class are relatively soft and mild. Tai Chi Chuan(T'ai-Chi Ch'uan) Health Class is also recommended for middle-aged or elderly students.
